I am a first year graduate student at the University of Washington, advised by Tom Anderson & Arvind Krishnamurthy. Under the auspice of making the internet better, I am working to remove the limitations preventing you from getting the information you want. These limitations come both from explicit censorship from government and corporate entities, and from implicit limitations in the form of unimplemented features in online systems.
Projects
OneSwarm Is a privacy preserving file sharing system. I am working to extend this system to a general purpose network overlay, since it has the potential to act as a fast and resilient censorship resistant proxy. The big deal here is that the network topology is only locally known, and based on trusted social links – which protects users and improves performance.
